"I have used one of these since they were first made. I have four grown children now having babies, and the first thing we do when we find out they are expecting their first child is to go out and buy one of these. Having lost a child to SIDS, there was no way I was going to let my grandchildren come home from the hospital without one of these in their crib. Worth every penny!"

SIDS prevention tips
- Make sure your baby gets a fresh source of air. Leaving a window open or the door cracked helps with this.
- If you decide to use bumpers, make sure there is space for air to flow around them.
- Do not use bumpers in playpens.
- Make sure to remove toys and obstructions that might limit your babies ability to breath.
- Consider placing your baby in an inclined sleeping position. Having the head up lets exhaled air slide down to the feet.

"My baby had RSV at 7 weeks old, and was sent home from the er as not being sick enough to admit him. That night he was having such respatory distress that he quit breathing at 3am. The alarm went off, and we were able to start him breathing again. Needless to say, he spent the next 8 days in the hospital on breathing monitors, but if he didn't have that at night, he would not be here now. He's now 20 months old and doing fine! I would definately buy this monitor again."
